Tone digestive organs with Nauli Kriya

The development of the body & soundness of health are dependent on the digestive & excretory system. A proper functioning of all organs of the stomach is taken care of by a special technique known as Nauli Kriya. Hence the importance & utility of this technique. Primarily it is intended for regenerating & stimulating the abdominal viscera or gastro-intestinal or alimentary system.

Technique of Nauli Kriya : Practitioners of Nauli Kriya should first master the technique of Mool Bandha, Udiiyan bandh & Jalandhar Bandh. The simplest method to follow is this order is first do Agnisar then does Uddiyan bandh then practice Nauli Kriya. There are three stages of Nauli Kriya.

Stage 1 : Do strong & forcible expiration through the mouth & keep the lungs completely empty. Draw in & draw out the abdominal muscles forcibly. This is known as Agnisar Kriya. Along with it ,start doing Uddiyan Bandh for a while.

Stage 2 Dakshin-van Nauli : At this stage nauli Kriya is practised either in Vajrasana or in standing pose or in Padamasana. But the practice of Nauli is done easily in the standing pose than in the other two poses.

Technique : Stand up, keep the right leg 1.5 feet apart from the left leg. Do a forcible expiration & keep the lungs completely empty. Now contract the abdominal muscles towards the back. This is Udiiyan bandh. Rest both the hands on the thighs. Now pressing them hard go on moving them up & down by turns. By repeating this practice the Nauli will start emerging out gradually. By having such gradual practice, when right side of the Nauli starts emerging out, take rest & stand for a while. Follow the same practice on the left side too.

Central Nauli : Keep both of the hands on the upper part of thighs. Exercising pressure with palms move them up to the knees. Now by exhaling fully & loosening abdominal muscles allow the Central Nauli to emerge. Stay for a while in this position. Repeat this practice for a few days & Central Nauli will start emerging.

Stage 3 : When the practice of emerging the Central Nauli is mastered , start the practice of turning the muscles in a circular way. One hand will remain above & the other hand near the knee, keeping the breath out, go on churning it up & down & rotating from side to side. Constant practice will yield the desired results.

Benefits of Nauli Kriya : All the ailments arising from the disorder of Vat, pitt & cough are cured by it. It expels all kinds of dirt stuck in the intestines & cures constipation. Heaviness of stomach is reduced. It cures dyspepsia & whets your appetite. It affects liver, colon & phlegm glands & thereby improves digestive system.

It eradicates altogether the ailments of asthma, urinary organ, gastric disorders, blood pressure & dropsy. It is not only gives mental peace, but also inclines you more & more work. It relieves from pain in the kidney & stomach. Seminal ejaculations are stopped by this technique. It tones the functioning of Apan, Saman & Pran. Finally it is greatly helpful in awakening your Kundalini power.
